- On February 19th and 20th Galbreath Incorporated held their annual Dealer Meeting. This year’s meeting took place at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN. With over 125 in attendance, Galbreath distributors and staff had little time between socializing and listening to guest speakers discuss the industry and its future. To kick off the meeting, Sunday night’s open reception was held at the Jack Daniels Saloon. On Monday those attending were educated by Ron Whitaker, President of Hyco International, and Steve Ginter and Scott Baraclough, Vocational and Powertrain specialist for Mack Truck. Wastequip and Galbreath management spent time discussing new product features and company planned direction for 2006. The afternoon session was capped off by a presentation from the keynote speaker, former NFL Quarterback Joe Theismann, who discussed a “Plan for Success”.
The annual awards dinner was held in the Old Hickory Steakhouse where a benefit auction, dinner and award presentations all took place. While many product awards were presented, top honors were presented to the sales team from Consolidated Disposal Systems of Smyrna, Georgia, who was this year’s number one Galbreath dealer. Galbreath and Wastequip would like to thank all the dealers who attended this year’s meeting, and all those dealers who have helped make Galbreath an industry leader. We know you have been the key to our longstanding success. See you next year.

- WINAMAC, IN---Galbreath, Inc. introduces new standard features on all Galbreath hoists. The Power Tower™ Control System and rear chassis Plug and Play™ Electrical Wiring Harness are new features that come standard with every Galbreath truck-mounted or trailer hoist.
The Power Tower™ is a full function, stand-alone, cab-mounted remote control system that controls all hoist functions without the difficulties of dashboard multiplexing. Designed to interface with all major truck chassis wiring systems, it reduces installation time by standardizing the installation process regardless of chassis configurations. The Power Tower™ eliminates stripping of individual wires, twisting wires together, and looping bare wires around hard-to-access terminal studs.
The Power Tower™ interfaces with the Galbreath Plug and Play™ Electrical Wiring Harness designed to provide greater convenience in mobile rear light wire technology. The Plug and Play™ interfaces with the rear light wiring system of all major truck chassis. Its waterproof connector plugs into the existing chassis’s rear light connector while the PL3 lamp end connectors plug directly into either incandescent or LED lamps. Color-coded wires are sealed in an abrasion-resistant protective cover, and the molded junction box eliminates corrosion at the main cable split.
A division of Wastequip, Inc., Galbreath manufactures a full line of waste handling and recycling equipment including roll-off hoists, hook hoists, containers, self-dumping hoppers, compactors, and balers.
